Arrival of Test Barge

Dr. Kimball recently took possession of our newest piece of test apparatus, a 40 foot barge we are going to be converting to a test platform.  By suspending a turbine under the barge and driving the barge through the water we will be able to simulate the tidal flow of water past the turbine rather than having to restrict our testing to one of the four times a day when tidal flow is at its peak.
The barge is going to require a bit of work but it is pretty much perfect for our intended use.  It was originally designed and built by George Kittredge, retired Navy captain and a personal submarine designer to launch and retrieve his submersibles.
